Membership Eligibility:

All professional or para-professional educators, parents, students or community members interested in the purposes and objectives of IAMME or the promotion of multilingual, multicultural education.

Membership Benefits: Your membership entitles you to the following benefits:

• The IAMME newsletter and all IAMME publications
• Reduced fees at annual conference events*
• Free or reduced registration fees at semi-annual conference events*
• Participation in all IAMME activities
• Acquisition of professional materials and relevant services
• Opportunities for sharing on a professional basis with fellow practitioners

*Institutional memberships excluded
There are three categories for membership. A Regular membership with IAMME includes all of the benefits for only $30 a year. If you would like to join our national organization (NABE), the National Association for Bilingual Education, you may do so through IAMME for a discounted Combined rate of $80.00 (NABE membership alone is $60.00, call (202) 898-1829 for more information on NABE). If you are with an organization that would like to join as an Institutional member ($50.00), it would include all the benefits above with the exception of the reduced conference rates. Institutional members are eligible for multiple copies of IAMME publications (on request).

If you would like to join IAMME, please fill in the Membership Application Form and submit it to us right away. Once we receive your application, we will send you a hard copy of your application for your approval and a request for a check made payable to IAMME for the appropriate amount (dependent on whichever membership category you choose). If you would like us to send you an application, please fill in the top portion of the cyber-application and we will send one to you via snail mail.
